The Las Vegas workshops brought a highly successful debut of Bob's new Advanced Compositing Techniques workshop.

Participants came from the following states:

Class sizes were slightly smaller than most 1998 workshops:
LightWave 3D Essentials 5 students
Advanced LightWave 3D Techniques 9 students
Advanced Compositing Techniques 5 students
Organic Modeling & Character Animation Essentials 6 students
Intermediate Organic Modeling & Character Animation 4 students

Evaluations for each workshop asked the following question:

To what extent did this workshop meet your expectations overall?
Results: Low 2%
About what I expected 22%
Exceeded my expectations 76%
Note: One person evaluated the Advanced LightWave 3D Techniques workshop half-way between "Low" and "About what I expected" This person had the following comment:

"Because I knew a lot going in, I thought things would be a little bit more in-depth. I still learned a lot and learned new things about things I already "knew" but it was a little too easy. I thought I would've been challenged more." We provide the detailed syllabi for each workshop on the web in order to make it easier for you to determine which workshop is appropriate for your current ability level. If you have questions about which class is right for you, please call Vance Laine at (785) 231-1010, ext. 1399 or e-mail him at lightwave@washburn.edu for help in selecting the class that fits your needs.
